Echo Park Happy Spring Flower Pot

Hello everyone - it's Tya here on the blog today. I don't know about you but I have a serious case of Spring Fever and the adorable Hello Spring Collection was just what I needed to get a little dose of spring in my life. I decided to create a cute flower pot that would be fun to add some seeds or other little gifts to give or for some festive home decor.

I used a SVG cut file to create this pot and it can be found here. I used my Silhouette to cut out the parts of the pot.The beautiful flowers on the blue side of the Spring Flowers paper were the perfect base of the pot. I loved the stripe on the Spring Showers paper make the cutest rim. The pot is placed on a saucer made from the pink flower side of the Happy Spring paper.

I made a tag from the Happy Spring paper using a tag punch and a scallop edge border punch. I  layered a few stickers from the Element sticker sheet on the tag with some foam tape. I tied some white ribbon to to the rim of the pot  and then added the tag to the bow with some white crochet thread. I added some foam tape behind the tag so it stays in place.

These beautiful 3D flowers were cut out from the yellow plaid side of the 4x6 Journaling Cards paper. I attatched the flowers together with some white pearl brads. I cut out a few leaves from the Yellow/Green Coordinating Solid paper in the Easter Solids papers. I added the flowers to the front of the pot with some foam tape.
This pot was very fun to put together and would make a really fun gift or home decor piece. Thank you  for stopping by today!
